My name is Brenda Desjardins, I was born in Neepawa, Manitoba, I am proudly of French Canadian and Ojibwe decent. I am a self-taught artist, I work mostly in contemporary abstract art. I like the freeness and chaos of abstractions. I use the heavier bodied acrylics to get a base of intense hues that I want a hint of at the completion of my work.
